Nether Vortex for Badge of Justice in TBC Classic Phase 4
Nether Vortex will be available for 15 BoJ.
In addition, both Primal Nether and Nether Vortex will become tradable in Phase 4. So if you have more gold than badges check out the auction house.
Nether Vortex for BoJ will be available on March 22, 2022, after maintenance.

Get Badges of Justice from 10-man Raiding in TBC Classic Phase 4
To help you collect the newer and more expensive BoJ gear you can receive BoJ from bosses in Karazhan and Zul’Aman starting in Phase 4.
- Karazhan = 22 BoJ (weekly reset)
- Zul’Aman = 13 BoJ (3 days reset)
Assuming you run Kara once and ZA twice you can bring in 48 BoJ per week. Expect an uptick in Kara pugs with more raid mains returning.
Badges of Justice will start dropping in raids on March 24, 2022, at 3:00 PM PDT.
Get Badges of Justice from Previous 25-man Raiding in TBC Classic Phase 4
Originally this change didn’t happen until Sunwell was released, but in TBC Classic Phase 4 we will see Badges of Justice drop from older 25-man raid bosses.
- Gruul’s Lair = 5 BoJ
- Magtheridon’s Lair = 3 BoJ
- Serpentshrine Cavern = 12 BoJ
- Tempest Keep = 8 BoJ
That’s an additional 28 BoJ per week if you run all older Outland raid content. Mount Hyjal and Black Temple were not listed in Blizzard’s Phase 4 announcement. Expect them to start dropping BoJ in Phase 5.

Keep Stockpiling Badges of Justice for TBC Classic Phase 5
Even after you have all the new BoJ gear you want you should continue farming and saving BoJ for Phase 5.
In the Sunwell content, you’ll be able to buy epic gems for 15 BoJ each. While epic gems will drop from Sunwell raid trash their demand will continue to be higher than supply for many guilds, especially for Crimson Spinel (red gem). Having a stockpile of badges to kit out your new Sunwell epics will be handy.
There will also be new armor pieces available, some BiS for the remainder of TBC Classic. The more you can ride the wave of increased Kara and ZA runs, the easier time you’ll have to get your upgrades later.
