Best Rogue Enchants Phase 5

Phase 5 brings a new glove and cloak enchants. These change a few of a rogue’s best enchants once AQ20 and AQ40 have opened. And some enchanters pick up the new recipes. Below is an updated list of the best rogue enchants rogues in Phase. What you should use when you get new AQ epics.

Best Rogue Enchants

Head

Death’s Embrace – 28 attack power & 1% dodge

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
  • Get in on guild ZG idol runs for your best shot. Remember to buy a rogue voodoo doll from the AH, too.

Lesser Arcanum of Voracity – 8 agility

  • A solid option if ZG enchant isn’t in the cards.
  • Libram is still pricey
Shoulders

Zandalar Signet of Might – 30 attack power

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
  • Requires exalted with Zandalar Tribe (ZG rep)
  • You can buy coins and bijous from AH for the tokens needed, or get some on ZG idol runs

Nature Mantle of the Dawn – 5 nature resistance

  • Great for your nature resistance shoulders
  • If you can’t get the ZG shoulder enchant these at least offer something while running AQ
  • Requires revered with Argent Dawn
Cloak – New for Phase 5

Subtlety – Decreases threat caused by 2%

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
  • Requires new Nexus Crystals
  • Replaces the +3 agility enchant. Doesn’t directly increase DPS. But being less worried about threat does improve your DPS.
Chest

Greater Stats – 4 all stats

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
  • Expensive mats and need to find an enchanter outside the guild

Stats – 3 all stats

  • Much cheaper, and available in the guild
  • Still a DPS loss, as the better one benefits from Kings buff
Bracer

Superior Strength – 9 strength

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
Gloves – New for Phase 5

Superior Agility – 15 agility

  • Best in slot enchant for rogues
  • Requires new Nexus Crystals
  • Replaces the +7 agility enchant
Legs

Greater Agility – 7 agility

  • Best for straight DPS
  • Best in slot on fights where there is little to no movement

Minor Speed – Increases run speed by 8%

  • Best for quality of life
  • Best in slot on fights with lots of movement
  • Benefits you anytime you’re running
Main Hand Weapon

Crusader – Chance on attack to heal for 75 -125 and increases strength by 100 for 15 seconds

  • Swords or daggers
  • Best in slot for PvE
  • Get the most out of it by timing your cooldowns to go along with Crusader procs

Superior Striking – 5 weapon damage

  • Daggers only
  • A little behind Crusader in PvE damage, but excellent for dagger rogues in PvP
  • If you PvP a little or a lot it is usually better than Crusader for both PvE and PvP overall
  • Easier to benefit from, as you don’t need to pay attention to procs and buffs
Off-Hand Weapon

Crusader – Chance on attack to heal for 75 -125 and increases strength by 100 for 15 seconds

  • Swords or daggers
  • Crusader can proc on either weapon, and can proc together (+200 strength total)
  • Best in slot if you can regularly time cooldowns along with dual Crusader procs

Agility – 15 agility

  • Swords or daggers
  • Easier to benefit from, as you don’t need to pay attention to procs and buffs
